Vitellius, 69. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.24 g, 5 h), Rome, 19 April-20 December 69. A VITELLIVS GERM IMP AVG TR P Laureate head of Vitellius to right. Rev. LIBERTAS RESTITVTA Libertas standing front, head to right, holding pileus in her right hand and long scepter in her left. BMC 31. CBN 67. Cohen 47. RIC 105. A lovely coin struck on a broad flan and with light iridescent toning and an excellent portrait. Tiny marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
